Debra Lanette French, 61, Claypool, passed away at 11:44 a.m. Aug. 1, 2016, at her residence. Debra was born on Oct. 20, 1954, to Joseph and Kathy (Veracruz) Brewer in Dallas, Texas.
She graduated from Skyline Academy, Dallas, Texas in 1972. Debra was a veteran of the U.S Air Force. On May 21, 2011, Debra married Bennie French and worked as a homemaker. She loved attending church, reading her Bible, and also enjoyed camping.
Debra is survived by her husband: Bennie French, Claypool; daughter: Mariah (Mark) Chupp, Elkhart; mother: Kathy Brewer, Mesquite, Texas; two brothers: Lonnie J. Brewer, Dallas, Texas; and Joseph Brewer, Fort Worth, Texas; four grandchildren: Jessica (Nick) Haynes; Collin (Meghan) Chupp; Jadon Chupp; and Jocelyn Chupp.
Friends and family may call from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Aug. 4, at the South Pleasant United Methodist Church, North Manchester. Services will be held at noon Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016 at the South Pleasant United Methodist Church, North Manchester. Pastor Dwight Wagoner will officiate. Burial will be in Silver Creek Cemetery, Silver Lake.
