Chad Lee Bibler
Chad Lee Bibler, 54, Grove City, Ohio, died unexpectedly Sunday, July 31, 2022, at Grady Memorial Hospital, Delaware, Ohio.
Chad was born Sep. 20, 1967, in Logansport, to Larry D. and Carolyn L. (Bundy) Bibler. He married Anne Raikes and then married Beth Woodford Bibler; they survive.
He was a 1986 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School. He furthered his education at Taylor University and Grace College, where he attained a bachelors degree in biology. He owned and operated Bibler Painting since 1998. Chad also, in earlier years, taught for Bremen Schools and coached for Bremen and Argos.
Chad was a proud member of the NAIA Grace College National Championship men’s basketball team. He coached and assisted with his children’s sports teams. He also loved golfing, cooking and was an avid sports fan. Chad also enjoyed listening to music and could be quite the comedian. He was God fearing, funny and always cared for others. He will be remembered as an over-teacher and a jokester.
He is survived by his children, Jacob Lee Bibler, Hannah Marie Bibler, Grace Ann Bibler, Cashton Lee Bibler and Tessa Elle Bibler; mother, Carolyn Lauer, Canadian, Texas; father, Larry (Carol) Bibler, Sun City, Ariz.; sister, Amy (Ronnie Schafer) Bibler, Canadian, Texas; sister-in-law, Stephanie Bibler, Claypool; and nieces, Chelsea (Sean) McCloskey and Megan (Treston) Fisher.
Chad was preceded in death by his brother. Scott Bibler; and grandparents, Howard and Mabel Bibler and Hiram and Dora Bundy.
The funeral service will take place at 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022, at King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone, with Pastor Denny Wilson officiating.
The interment will take place following the service in the Mentone Cemetery, Mentone.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to the time of the service, at the funeral home.
