Clark Shepherd

Clark Shepherd, 72, of Claypool, passed away on Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital, Warsaw, due to Covid complications.

Clark was born on Sept. 24, 1951, in Paintsville, Ky., the son of Jay and Mollie (Hall) Shepherd.

Clark was a mechanic by trade and a handyman doing many odd jobs as requested. He lived most of his life in the Packerton area. Since 1970, he enjoyed playing in a band with family members. They especially enjoyed playing at the Moose Lodge for several years. One of his favorite pastimes was cutting trees on the property of his brother, George, and sister-in-law, Cathy.

Clark will be missed and loved by his three sisters, Norma (Jean) Wood, of Larwill, Grace (Terry) Woodling, of Warsaw, and Janette (Perry) Kirkland, of Texas; one brother, George (Cathy) Shepherd, of Claypool; and 28 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in passing by his parents; five sisters, Catherine Calhoune, Ruby Landrum, Josey Calhoun, Mollie Eisinger and Lyn Hobbs; and one brother, Jay (Butch) Shepherd.

All services are private. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, Warsaw, has been entrusted with arrangements for Clark’s family.
