Jeanetta Kay “Wonder Woman” Perkins

Jeanetta Kay “Wonder Woman” Perkins, 60, Warsaw, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024, at her home.

She was born May 30, 1963, in Columbia City, the daughter of the late Norman Perkins Sr. and Faye (Buckmaster) Perkins.

She was a graduate of Whitko High School. She worked in the kitchen for Maple Leaf Duck Farms. She loved being at home and was a notorious “home body.” She dearly loved her grandchildren, and she cherished the time they spent together.

Jeanetta will be lovingly remembered by her sons: Nathan (fiancé Jacinda Wuthrich) Oglesbee, Claypool; Lucas (Alanis Saunders) Oglesbee, Warsaw; and Gary Black Jr., Warsaw; brother: David Perkins, Warsaw; sister: Bobbie Perkins, Warsaw; and her grandchildren: Natalie Perkins, Mallory Perkins, Carter Johnson, Ayden Coplin, Olivia Coplin, Ethan Coplin, Chase Wuthrich, Carter Saunders, Emmitt Saunders, and Isabella Saunders.

In addition to her parents, Jeanetta was preceded by a son: Justin Perkins; and two brothers: Norman Jr. and Jim Perkins.

A visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, March 21, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, at a later date.
