Eugene Leroy Grimm, 83, Claypool, passed away at 9:34 a.m. Monday, Feb. 6, 2017 at his home.
He was born on Nov. 7, 1933 in Mishawaka to John E. and Helen Mabel (Cowan) Grimm.
He moved to the Warsaw area in the 1940’s and attended Warsaw High School. On July 17, 1965 in Warsaw he married Karen Ann Rollings who survives. He retired in 1998 from Warsaw Engineering & Fabrication as a heavy equipment operator.
He was on several bowling leagues over the years, loved to pitch horseshoes and play dominoes and cards.
He is survived by his wife Karen; three daughters: Katie (Chuck) Anderson, Howe; Jeannie (Randy) Zorn, Warsaw; and Marsha Worrell, Ligonier; two sons: Rob (Crystal) Grimm, Warsaw; Greg (Donata) Grimm, Claypool; ten grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; a brother, Richard Grimm, Rochester.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Marge, brother, Ted, and uncle, Carl Cowan.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11 at the Harvest Community Church, 512 S. Seventh Street, Pierceton, IN with Pastor Glenn Hall officiating.
